THE CODEX AS AN APP

Get the Codex on your phone

Put the Codex on your home screen so it opens like any other app. It takes about a minute.

iPhone

Use Safari for this. It is the blue compass on your iPhone.

  1. Open Safari and go to codexofthearchitect.com/thecodex

  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up). On some iPhones it is at the top.

    This is the Share button.

  3. Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”. If you can’t see it, tap “Edit Actions” at the bottom of the list and add it.

  4. Tap “Add” in the top right corner.

  5. Close Safari and open the Codex from its new icon on your home screen.

Android

Use Chrome for this.

  1. Open Chrome and go to codexofthearchitect.com/thecodex

  2. If a bar appears saying “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”, tap it. If not, tap the three dots in the top right corner and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.

    This is the three dots button.

  3. Tap “Install”.

  4. Open the Codex from its new icon on your home screen or in your apps.

Good to know

  • It takes no space like a normal download.
  • It updates itself.
  • You sign in once inside it.
